Steven Spielberg, taking no prisoners, on the ‘Indy’ set.
As reported by AP news, the ‘Indiana Jones’ lawsuit was settled.
SANTA MONICA, Calif. (AP) – The producers of the new “Indiana Jones” movie have settled a lawsuit against an actor accused of breaching a confidentiality agreement by revealing the film’s plot in a newspaper interview.
A Superior Court order was filed Tuesday finding that Tyler Nelson knowingly violated the agreement that he signed when he was cast to appear in a scene of “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull”, said Lucasfilm Ltd. publicist Lynne Hale. The agreement barred everyone involved in the film from publicly discussing it.
Terms of the settlement were not disclosed. An after-hours call to Nelson’s talent agency was not immediately returned.
The fourth installment of the adventure series was directed by Steven Spielberg and stars Harrison Ford.
Tyler revealed plot details during an interview last month with his hometown newspaper, Oklahoma’s Edmond Sun, Daily Variety reported. That story has been removed from the newspaper’s Web site.
“We ask every cast and crew member to sign a confidentiality agreement because we want to protect the movie’s thrills and surprises for audiences,” said Lynn Bartsch, Lucasfilm’s director of business affairs.
A spokesman for Spielberg said he didn’t know whether Nelson’s scenes would be cut from the movie.
The new Indy adventure, which also stars Cate Blanchett and Shia LaBeouf, will be in theaters next May.
See what happens? When you come to Hollywood and f*ck with ‘The Spielberg’…You will get the horns…Believe it!
Actor/ Dancer, Tyler Nelson, a professionally trained ballet dancer who studied at the Bolshoi Academy in Moscow, was playing a “dancing Russian soldier”. He couldn’t even flee to Russia to get away from the wrath of ‘The Spielberg’. He would have been hunted like an animal until he was brought to justice. It’s good that he turned himself in to the Superior Court in Santa Monica, California (don’t they have anything better to do?). He thew himself to the mercy of the court and ‘The Spielberg’. The terms of the settlement were not available at press time, but I’m sure the only entertainment job this guy’s going to get any time soon is, dancing at a puppet show in Siberia.
Maybe if he’s lucky, he can get a gig peeling potatoes in Leningrad.
I just hope for the theater of it all, ‘The Spielberg’, actually put the words …You Will Never Work In This Town Again!- into the settlement agreement.
Look for Tyler Nelson dancing in Volgograd… Coming Soon.
…seriously DEEP!
