A sad day on Tuesday, Hilary Graham was voted off of, Mark Burnett filmmaker reality show, ON THE LOT. I worked with Hilary on her short film, “The Legend of Donkey Tail Willie”. She was a joy to work with, and what this show is all about. Giving a talented person a chance to show what they could do, and taking the experience and growing as an artist. Hilary is a film director, no doubt. The reason she is gone, was that two people had to go, and she was up against some strong competition. Woman directors have not done well on the show, and the last two are now gone. Shalini Kantayya, and Hilary, both came up short in the voting last week. So now it’s eight men, and two more will go next week.
It was Action Week, and I worked on Sam Friedlander’s film “Key Witness”. Sam was great, well prepared and really knew his stuff. Sam wrote a great action movie, and delivered exactly what the genre called for. A film filled with stunts and exciting moments, with a good story. I think it was the best pure action movie of the night. I wish Sam all the best in the voting for next next week. Check it out next Tuesday on FOX, 8PM.
This week team my team is working with Adam Stein and his comedy/ romance film, “Girl Trouble”.
