Al Gore III in Orange County, Ca. for the 4th of July

Al Gore III, the 24-year-old son of Academy Award winner Al Gore was arrested on suspicion of drug possession today. Al Gore III, was pulled over in Orange County Ca, going 105 miles per hour, in his Toyota Prius, he was headed down to San Diego for the holiday. The Deputies who pulled him over smelled marijuana so they searched the car, and they found pot, along with Valium, Xanax, Vicodin and Adderall. He is was being held at the Santa Ana Inmate Reception Center, and was released for $20,000 bail. This wasn’t Gore III’s first arrest. He was charged with marijuana possession in 2003 and was ticketed for reckless driving in 2000 and 2002.
105 MPH in a Prius! I didn’t know a Prius could go that fast, wow he was really getting on that thing. Isn’t the whole idea of the Prius to be a sensible driver? I mean driving a hybrid car 100 mph kind of defeats the whole purpose. But I guess Al III threw sensible out the window when he lit up a joint, and popped some pills. I wonder what kind of 4th of July Barbecue he was going to, with all those assorted drugs. It seems like he had enough for an army of young environmentalists, looking for a good BBQ. He posted bail, and will face misdemeanor and felony charges. Wow, that sounds pretty bad. I don’t think Gore Jr., former Vice President of the United States, liked hearing this very much. On the 4th of July, no less. Hey, at least he was driving a Prius.
Al Gore was in Rio trying to get his Live Earth Concert back on track. It was canceled earlier in the week because of security concerns. He has not commented on Gore III’s arrest.
