Several media outlets picked up quotes attributed to the “Ocean’s 13″ star, saying, “You can only get so far without any discernible talent. Then you either work or use cheap publicity tricks to keep the public’s attention … Then you are in no position to complain if, like Paris, you are on the receiving end of bad publicity.” Clooney’s rep sent KP International, which disseminated the quote, a letter demanding an immediate retraction and an apology. Not only that, Clooney wants the source of the story to be named.

Two of my favorite subjects Paris Hilton and George Clooney collide, I love it. It does sound like something George might say. The quotes are thought out and intelligent, and very accurate. If the quote fits, maybe he should wear it. Whoever said it was pretty right on. I wish I had said it… Oh I did say something like that to Speedy Pete the other day. Hey, maybe someone overheard me and thought I was Clooney? Come on… it could be possible.
On the other hand, I have never known George to be a liar. If he says he didn’t say it, and is pissed about it, then there’s no way he said it. I don’t think George would ever get involved in anything like the media circus that is Paris Hilton. Why would he waste his time commenting on something like that? Mr. Clooney has too much class.
Imagine those two getting together? If certain members of the press wanted to make something up to link these two together that would have been better. A Clooney / Hilton love child? Hmmmmmmm……
